dc.description.abstract The main theme of this paper lies in the work in progress of a research analyzing the motivations of donors to religious and secular organizations, and the degree to which there may be commonalities as well as differences between them. The context used for this research is the monetary gift by individual donors and groups or ‘sets’ of donors to religious and secular organizations. The focus is on the motives of donors with a religious disposition and donors with a secular disposition while giving to religious or secular organizations. en_US
